The Maharaja's Magic Elephant
This drawing was done in a palace in Rajastan, India when I was there in 2004. It was a huge mural painting in an interior courtyard. the drawing was done in multi-colored wax crayons, then a radial gradation to highlight the men's faces and a wild spirit card to add mystery. The many colors evoke India's rich heritage.
