Gossipers Should Let Sleeping Dogs Lie
This painting comes from a sculpture in the central square in Bruges, Belgium. I don't know what they call it but I am doing a 3 painting series of it from 3 different aspects. I started with a poured watercolor ink underpainting. The strange marks that show up in 3 places - small, medium and large - are some kind of graffiti on the pillar behind the figures. I thought it was a good representation of gossiping.
