Dancing Shiva

In Hinduism, the Trinity of Gods is Brahma, the Creator; Vishnu, the Sustainer; and Shiva, the Destroyer. The Shiva Nataraj, or dancing Shiva, is shown dancing on the black dwarf of ignorance. The locks of Shiva's hair swing out into the universe knocking stars from the heavens and giving rise to the sacred river Ganges.
